Indiana advocates press for data center pause amid rising energy demand

Rather than pumping the brakes, state legislators should be thinking "out of the box". Are there ways to allow the data centers to build without risking grid reliability or increased costs to existing ratepayers? One option is "Consumer Regulated Electricity" or CRE. CRE would allow investors to build new, fast moving, innovative, and highly competitive utilities focused on serving the data centers.
