Texas Legislature’s Committee on Grid Reliability

This Tuesday we provided testimony at a hearing held by the Texas Legislature's Committee on Grid Reliability. Key points included:

- ERCOT cannot keep pace with the speed of the data center industry

- We want ERCOT and the utilities focused more on reliability than meeting rapid load growth

- CRE would allow for the creation of new, fast moving utilities which could take some of the load growth burden from ERCOT and the utilities
